Three Little Monkeys sitting on the bed was created at home by Nana & Papa.

Since baby Noah was born in December we have been anxious to photograph the 3 boys together.

Our goal: to capture little brother and the happiness he brings into the Beltrami home.  Noah is a very happy baby (just like his dad was) and his big brothers, who are very busy boys, take the time to shower him with kisses, hugs, up close smiles & encouraging words.  I can already see in Noah's eyes that he wants to grow up to be just like them!  And that would be a very 'good thing'!

We have been very busy photographing families

Mom has an artpiece of baby Elin now that will often remind her of this time in her baby's life....

and we can't forget grammy's pearls, which she'll probably wear on her wedding day!

Life is all about the memories we stitch together!

Sisters

Last weekend I photographed 'Sisters'.

These beautiful little girls have a beautiful mommy that had been photographed by

us years ago when she was a little girl.

Time passes by so quickly!

And I know I say that alot but I think it's a good reminder

to us all to slow life down a bit and let people know how special they are to us.

So , for homework, convince a loved one today that they are truly loved...'it'll come back

to you pressed down and running over'.

Summer means High School Portfolios!

Today's High School portrait sessions are more like modeling sessions! In fact one of our new products for 2012 Graduate is a Modeling Portfolio to put their images in as a keepsake of their Senior year.

We have so much fun in the studio this time of year...getting to know the young adults, finding out what their plans are for the future and capturing who they are on film (flash card)!

The lighting, posing, expressions, props, backrounds and effort we put into every session really gives us a sense of satisfaction of a job well done by us for each graduate...

creating one-of-a-kind Art Pieces for the home that happens to have your precious babies in them! Which is what I just did of Eva, the new addition to the Van Orman family.

We created a black & white piece of Gabe (the boy- in 2009) and, a pink & white one of baby Eva.

What fun!

Using, for each individual portrait, same dimensions and same curly Q's for the backround, we

created opposite but matching wall decor.

We are winding down from our Children modeling contest we run the first of every year!

I don't know who has more fun...the kids or us!

Last year we bought tutus for the girls & hats and ties for the little men. One of our favorite things to do is create wall art for the kid's rooms so I wanted to share our most recent creation.

Updated Beltrami Family Portrait!

Every year we either photograph the family or the grandchildren for our Christmas card and I thought I'd share this year's portrait with you. You can see we have 5 precious grandchildren (hoping for 1 more...don't tell anyone, I may get into trouble!).

By now, if you've seen our family portraits over the years, you've realized that we love

the beach and that's an understatement!

Chris took 3 separate images of our family and blended them together to create our portrait...something only an artist can do. (especially with all those waves in the backround...)

Monique gave me a call one day and asked me if we could design a 'snow scene set' to create a 'Snow Babies' photograph of her two grandchildren. What FUN we had! Love it when a client has an idea in mind for a shoot!

The final portrait is my Christmas window and is it getting alot of attention! There have been a few 'fender-bender' close calls out front...only kidding.

It is true that the proud Mimi & a group of friends have been spied standing in front of the window display oohing & aahing and pointing & smiling...

Love it when that happens!!

Though I am a 'cat woman'...who could ever resist these 'precious girls'! Their mommy

had to have a portrait created for herself & I had the pleasure of playing with & photographing these babies.

Well behaved and obedient...maybe my bengal kitty wouldn't mind having a sissy from 'anotha motha', as my son in law would say. I'll have to think about that!

girl. It's just so amazing how fast time slips right on by. I know that for Tori's mom

she has lots of moments captured of her family she'll always be able to enjoy in her home.

Happy Birthday Stacey!

October 11th is Stacey's birthday and this year in her card I put a portrait hanger as a hint to what her gift would be. Do you think she guessed?

The Beltramis in Boston did not have a family portrait with 2 1/2 year old Adam in it. Soooooo it was about time we got one up on the wall.

Stacey, figure out where your 30"x30" portrait will be hanging....we'll plan on an update when Ava decides to grace us with her presence...NO PRESSURE!
